Mattias Lundberg is Professor of Musicology at Uppsala University. He has published books, articles, chapters and editions relating to music from the Late Middle Ages and the Early Modern period, as well as on different aspects of Lutheran liturgical music and music history of Northern Europe. He has also published on different aspects of the history of Western music theory, and analytical studies of British progressive rock. He has been active as a broadcaster, with more than two-hundred programmes on different topics of music and musicology on the Swedish Radio channel P2.
