Annika Lindskog is Lecturer in Swedish at the School of European Languages, Cultures and Society at University College London, where she teaches advanced language classes and modules in cultural history and cultural studies. A graduate of Umeå University and Cardiff School of Music, her research is primarily focused on music as a cultural expression in historical contexts, both in Scandinavia and beyond, and often centres on relationships between landscapes, societies and identities as articulated through cultural texts. She is also a prolific choral and solo singer, and occasionally gets to coach other singers and ensembles in Swedish and Swedish music.
