Inja Stanović

Croatian pianist Inja Stanović was born in Zagreb and is currently living in Sheffield. She completed her first degree at the Ino Mirkovic School of Music, licensed under the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. She went on to complete two postgraduate programmes at the Schola Cantorum, Paris, before undertaking a masters at The Boston Conservatory. She completed a Ph.D. at The University of Sheffield focusing on nineteenth-century performance practice relating to the works of Chopin. Following several lecturing positions at the University of Sheffield and Birmingham Conservatoire, she recently started a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship at the University of Huddersfield. i.stanovic@hud.ac.uk
